In addition to his focus on grief counseling, James has significant experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain or illness. His holistic approach draws on the interconnectedness of mind and body, often incorporating mindfulness and yoga practices to promote balance and well-being.

James earned his master’s degree in clinical psychology from Benedictine University. Over the years, he has worked in diverse settings, including inpatient hospitals, community mental health agencies, and intensive outpatient programs, providing individual and family therapy tailored to each client’s needs.“​
