Ashley Wilkins

Ashley-wilkinsAshley is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who works with adults, adolescents, children, and families. She is passionate about supporting individuals dealing with issues of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. She has provided therapy in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and community mental health centers.

Ashley’s therapeutic style relies on authenticity, empathy, and trust to provide a supportive environment for growth and change. She approaches therapy as an active collaborator and offers an experience free of judgement, recognizing the inherent worth and uniqueness of each individual’s experience. She brings a strengths-based approach to her work, empowering individuals to lean on their inherent strengths to thrive. Her specialities and interests include: grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, parenting, and identity exploration. In her spare time, Ashley is also working on her certification to become a birth and postpartum doula.

Ashley earned her master’s of social work at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a specialization in child mental health and integrated behavioral health care. She earned her B.S. in Community Development at Portland State University.
