The Center for Grief Recovery and Therapeutic services is expanding and has openings for mental health professionals committed to providing quality psychotherapy services to our diverse clients.  Applicants should have at least 5 years of clinical experience, a depth and breadth of theoretical background(s), as well as direct experience working with bereft individuals.  In addition, we are looking for applicants who would like to join our efforts to provide professional development seminars and workshops through our program, The Institute for Creativity and Development (
Open positions are for therapists who wish to work in a positive professional culture where continuing professional development and collegiality are valued.  Therapists will receive administrative and clinical support in setting up and sustaining their individual practice within our current group of eight staff members.
Therapists at the Center are independent contractors and must be licensed to practice mental health in Illinois.  While the Center provides an umbrella professional malpractice liability insurance policy, independent contractors are required to have their own individual policy as well.
Our goal is to assist our new colleague in building a practice consisting of 18-25 clients per week. We are committed to cultivating a diverse staff which reflects the Rogers Park and wider metro Chicago community in which we practice.
